Trap Goose, thanks for being with us today at Planet Singer! Your latest release, the excellent “Exclusive Vampire,” is a great example of passion, narrative, and artistic maturity. We are thrilled to know more about your musical journey, so let’s start from the very beginning! When did you discover your passion for music?

I discovered my passion for music when my grandpa died and the girl I thought I was in love with me left me at the same time. A little before that, I started listening to lil peep and then after all that, I got into some things and started listening to Peep a lot more then started writing songs and realized that I could do this if I tried.

Can you tell us more about “Exclusive Vampire?” How did this project come to life?

Exclusive Vampire is just a whole vibe it’s my life in the album just about things I have been through and how I feel exclusive from the world and sometimes yeah I just feel like a vamp sitting in the darkness all alone.

Another great song in your discography is “White Girl.” What’s the story behind this song?

White Girl came about when I made this preset somewhat mixed with Travis Scott and Lil Peep it sounded great and then that was the first song I made with the preset and White Girl just came about basically me talking to a girl I felt in love with and all the drugs and things she did and how it kinda made me feel when she did that and just a whole vibe.

Your songwriting style and your sound are unique. Can you reveal what your creative process is? How does your music come to life?

Usually, I just find a beat that I like or get one from my producer 9lives and then start freestyling on it or write down the lyrics. I don’t do that because it does throw me off at times it’s mostly better just to come up with a song in the fly and basically after all that I just try to think of things and memories and put them together for the best sound and lyrics I can create.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I found my inspiration through Lil Peep and Travis Scott and just all the deaths I’ve seen and heartbreak I’ve been through that’s what got me into music just to make music to help me with certain things and to open myself up to the world.

Your sound is a perfectly balanced mix of Trap, Hip-Hop, and Rap with a modern and dark twist that makes your sound stand out. If you could collaborate with one of the artists who inspired you, who would you like to share a song or the stage with?

I would love to collaborate with Travis Scott, Nedarb, or Bones, and to share a song or the stage with the most would be Travis Scott for sure I would say Lil Peep if he was still here but unfortunately, he’s not.

From your song, it is clear how crucial it is for you to tell a story and keep the listeners entertained and engaged, thanks to the great beats but also the genuine and direct lyrics. How important is it to you to touch your listeners through your music?

It’s very important to me what people think of my songs and how they feel when they listen. I like people’s feedback and and I hope it helps them, makes them, or just wanna get hyper as hell either way my fans matter to me a lot.

Are you planning any live gigs this summer?

Yes, I’m planning to call around and do a lot of shows this summer hopefully some every weekend, if so maybe more to come soon, I hope either way. Yes, I will be doing more live gigs.
