Hi Jordan, it is such a pleasure having you with us today at Planet Singer! Your previous releases are incredible, albums such as “1999” and “Hamilton Rd” are proof of your potential and artistic maturity! We are thrilled to know more about you and your artistic journey, so let’s start from the very beginning. When did you discover your passion for music?

I discovered my passion for music probably when I was in high school. I was like, “if my idols can do this, I can too!” So I just wrote my first lil rap, then that started a whole new lion.

Your album, “So it ain’t so,” is due soon. Can you anticipate some news about it?

I’m going for more singing-type of vibes in this next project. I wanna show the world that not only can I rap but also sing my soul away.

Your sound is unique, and your ability to interpret songs of different style and narrative shows your incredible versatility. How important is it to you to find the right balance to deliver the right message to your audience?

I think to find the right balance, you just gotta stay focused and know even if you don’t like what you just recorded doesn’t mean other people will think the same find that comfort zone and break out of it.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I find it a lot in my grandfather, who’s the lead singer of McGuffey lane; his name is John Schwab, and he is a huge inspiration to me.

If you could collaborate with one of the artists who influenced or inspired you, who would you like to share a song or the stage with?

I’d say Gorillaz always loved their music, it’s different than a lot of stuff, and that’s exactly what I love…. Difference.

“1999” is such an excellent release! Can you tell us more about some of this album?

“1999” was something more of when my confidence shattered for a few months. I wrote it out the song “Family Tree” pretty much explains the whole meaning of why I wrote that project.

An exclusive interview with talented artist M-Ritz!

Your voice is just incredible! Have you work on your voice with a professional vocal coach or are you a natural singer?

I appreciate that dearly. I did it all-natural, just like how I record my music, all by myself in my car with a lil mic, got me where I am today. Do it right where you are yourself.

Is there any advice you would give those singers starting their artistic path?

My advice is: just do it. Don’t sit. Don’t think what if. Take that vision and make it reality.

What are your plans for the future?

To be greater than what I am right now. My only competition is myself, always.

Jordan, it was terrific having you with us! Is there anything you’d like to say to our readers and your fans?

Catch the next story on my next project coming soon…. Luv u all.
